In November 2011 Dalata painted the grey walls of the Heesterveld Community, where all R.U.A artists were staying during the R.U.A. edition in Amsterdam. The Heesterveld community is a creative community, hosting all sorts of artists of the region. During the stay of the Brazilians artists, there where many inspiring moments, gatherings and events, and artistic ideas and skills were exchanged.
Now it’s time for the Dutchies to head towards Brazil…R.U.A. invites them for an exploration of Brazilian street art culture. Back in the lowlands, their learned lessons will be processed into an educational program for youths in Amsterdam Southeast R.U.A. is developing. Follow their activities on FB or check the site every once in a while.
Painting the Heesterveld building is continuing a big challenge for Anna Taratiel, who now is most probably one of the most experienced cherry-picker drivers of Amsterdam.
